STETSCOM
The Kogi State Science, Technical Education & Teaching Service Commission (STETSCOM) is an agency of State Government with the responsibility to ensure the delivery of high quality education in all public secondary schools in the state. The public secondary schools include; regular Public Secondary Schools, Science Secondary Schools and Technical Colleges.
The Kogi State Science, Technical Education & Teaching Service Commission (STETSCOM) was created on June 6, 2019 through the merger of the Kogi State Teaching Service Commission (TSC) and the Kogi State Science, Technology and Technical Education Board (STTEB).
The History of the Commission dates back to November 1991, when an Edict was promulgated to establish the then Kogi State Teaching Service Board (TSB). The TSB was later transformed into a Commission by another Edict promulgated in November, 1996.
Similarly, an Edict to Establish the Kogi State Science, Technology and Technical Education Board (STTEB) was promulgated in 1994. The Edict essentially created STTEB to manage Public Secondary Schools designated as Science Secondary Schools across the State.
To deliver world-class education in all public secondary schools in Kogi State through a highly professional and motivated workforce.
